Delhi Police bust 2 fake sticker and extortion rackets targeting drivers, officers

India

Delhi Police have busted two criminal gangs that were making life tough for commercial drivers and traffic cops.
One group, led by Jeeshan Ali, was churning out over 2,000 fake "marka" stickers every month—selling them for ₹2,000-5,000 so vehicles could dodge no-entry rules.
The other gang, headed by Rajkumar (aka Raju Meena), used hidden cameras to secretly record traffic officers and then blackmailed them with the footage.

How the scams worked—and who got hurt

Ali's crew sold fake stickers and sent real-time WhatsApp alerts about police checkpoints to help drivers slip past restrictions.
Meanwhile, Meena's team planted spy cams with drivers to catch officers on duty; they'd edit the videos and threaten to leak or file false complaints unless paid off.
Some officers were forced to pay up to ₹1.5 lakh or faced even more disturbing demands.
After victims came forward, police arrested five people from both gangs and seized hundreds of fake stickers, spy cams, a pistol—and plenty of digital evidence.
Investigations are still ongoing as police dig deeper into their operations.
