Delhi shivers as cold wave and fog hit hard

India

Delhi just got its first real taste of winter, with temperatures dropping way below normal—Safdarjung maxed out at just 16.9°C, and Palam was even chillier at 16.3°C.
The IMD has put out an orange alert for Sunday because dense to very dense fog is expected in the national capital.

Why bother?

It's not just about feeling cold—this weather is actually causing trouble.
Visibility dropped to as low as 200 meters on Saturday morning.
So if you're heading out or catching a flight, it's definitely time to double-check your plans (and maybe grab an extra layer).
