Delhi teen kills man who allegedly tried to molest him
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly murdering Sandeep Kumar Malviya, a 39-year-old railway technician, in Delhi's Subzi Mandi area.
On January 25, after Malviya reportedly tried to sexually assault him while drunk, the teen struck him with a gas cylinder and used broken glass to kill him.
He then took cash and belongings before running away.
Minor tracked using digital clues
Malviya's family reported him missing when he didn't return home; his body was found days later in his locked room.
Police tracked the minor using digital clues like a small UPI transaction and CCTV footage.
He confessed after being caught, and police recovered clothes, a gas cylinder, broken glass and the newly purchased mobile phone (bought with withdrawn money).
The teen was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
