    Delhi's air quality hits 'Severe' levels: What's the situation

                        Delhi woke up to seriously bad air this Sunday, with the AQI near AIIMS soaring to 421—firmly in the 'Severe' zone. 
 Other hotspots like Chandni Chowk and RK Puram also clocked hazardous levels.

Breathing in this kind of air isn't great for anyone, but it's especially risky for kids, older people, and anyone with health issues, according to general health advice. 
 To help out, the city's rolling out water sprinklers and dust control teams. Plus, there's now a ban on older commercial vehicles from outside Delhi.
Parking fees have doubled across New Delhi
To push people toward public transport (and hopefully less smog), parking fees across New Delhi have doubled under a new action plan. 
 The goal: fewer cars on the road and cleaner air for everyone.
