Dhanushkodi: 10 injured in head-on van collision

A serious crash near Arichalmunai in Dhanushkodi on Friday left 10 people hurt after two vans collided head-on.
One van was carrying a family from Chhattisgarh who had just visited the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram.
Quick response and ongoing investigation
The van driver, Dakshinamurthy (42), suffered major injuries and was rushed to Government Ramanathapuram Medical College Hospital, while nine others—including tourists Sukhdev Singha, Neelamani Sahu, and Mahadev—were treated at Rameswaram Government Hospital.
Police have started an investigation to figure out what went wrong.
