ED summons Congress leader in cheating case
Congress leader D K Suresh, who is also the brother of Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case. He's expected to appear on June 19.
The investigation is tied to Aishwarya Gowda, who allegedly tricked people by pretending to be connected to powerful politicians.
Multiple FIRs against Gowda
Gowda was arrested in April for posing as Suresh's relative and cheating people, which led Suresh himself to file a police complaint.
The ED is also talking to Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni as part of this probe.
Multiple FIRs have been filed against Gowda, her husband Harish KN, and others—so things seem to be moving quickly on this case.
