Kashmir: Two terrorists killed, one captured at different encounter sites

Two terrorists were killed and one captured as security forces fought gunbattles in three different places of Kashmir. One terrorist was killed and another captured from an encounter site at Peth Dialgam area of Anantnag late at night yesterday. In neighboring Shopian, another terrorist was killed as personnel engaged in a gunbattle in Dragad. Another encounter raged on in Kachdora.

Arms and ammunition also recovered from the Anantnag encounter site
In Peth Dialgam, joint teams of police, army and CRPF had launched a cordon and search operation after receiving intel about the presence of terrorists. The encounter that started at night continued till the morning. Apart from killing one terrorist and capturing another, forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the site. Both terrorists belong to the Hizbul Mujahideen, officials said.

Unconfirmed reports of two army personnel being injured at Kachdora
There are reports that two army personnel have been injured in the encounter at Kachdora, however there's no official confirmation. In Kachdora and Dragad too, the gunfights started late last night.
