Extended sentence for abusive husband's attempted murder

In April 2024, William Budge (62) deliberately ran over his estranged wife, Sandra, twice with his car in Edinburgh.
The attack, caught on camera, left Sandra with life-threatening injuries.
Budge admitted to attempted murder and five years of domestic abuse.
