Fishermen warned to return as rough seas expected off Andhra coast
Heads up if you're near the Andhra coast—fishermen have been told to head back by November 27, with some choppy seas and strong winds (up to 55km/h) on the way.
While there's no heavy rain expected just yet, conditions could get pretty rough out there.
Local disaster officials are asking both fishermen and farmers to stay alert and take care.
What's causing this weather?
A depression that formed over the Strait of Malacca is set to get stronger, plus another low-pressure area in the southwest Bay of Bengal could turn into a depression by Thursday.
Expect light to moderate rain until November 28, but things might pick up after that—heavier rain is likely on November 29 and an orange alert for very heavy rainfall is out for Prakasam, SPSR Nellore, and nearby districts on November 30.
