India
Former Punjab minister Laljit Singh Bhullar has been sent to 14 days' judicial custody after the suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, a manager at the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation.
Randhawa reportedly consumed poison in the early hours of March 21 and recorded a 12-second video naming Bhullar for his decision.
FIR names Bhullar's father and aide
Bhullar was brought to court after his arrest on March 23. Police wanted more time to question him, but the court moved him to judicial custody instead.
An FIR has also been filed against Bhullar, his father, and an aide for abetment and criminal intimidation.
Meanwhile, two accused have not been arrested yet, and another man linked to the case died in police custody amid serious allegations from his family.
