Ghaziabad sisters die after jumping from building: What we know
Three sisters in Ghaziabad lost their lives after jumping from their ninth-floor apartment on February 4.
According to their father, Chetan Kumar, the girls had been playing the game for two-and-a-half to three years, and he said he was unaware the game "involved such tasks."
Investigators said the game was task-based and recovered a diary containing a handwritten note that read, "Sorry, Papa, I am really sorry," along with a crying-face emoji.
Investigators say girls were addicted to the game
Investigators say the sisters were deeply influenced by Korean content and addicted to this task-based game.
They hadn't attended school for years due to academic struggles and mostly stayed in their room.
On the day of the tragedy, they locked themselves in before jumping; sadly, all three died from their injuries.
The police are still talking to family members as they try to piece together what happened.
