Government announces annual inter-state disaster drills
Union Home Minister Amit Shah just announced that India will hold yearly inter-state disaster management mock drills. Speaking at a conference in Delhi, he also called for Start-Up India innovations to be used in disaster relief, aiming to make responses faster and smarter.
