Greater Noida: Class 12 student shot after social media dispute

A Class 12 student and his family came under attack in Greater Noida's Kasna area on Saturday, reportedly after an argument over a social media comment.
The confrontation happened near Omicron 1 when they were heading home, and quickly turned violent.

Attackers used cars and bikes; police searching for suspects

The group of attackers arrived in multiple vehicles—including a Scorpio, Creta, and bikes—shouted threats, then opened fire.
The victims took cover behind their car, and one student's uncle was briefly kidnapped and beaten before being released with warnings.
Police have filed cases against several people for attempted murder and rioting, are checking viral videos of the incident, and are still looking for those involved.
