
Gujarat: 10 injured, over 30 vehicles torched in village clash

An FIR has been filed and around 110 to 120 people have been booked, Sabarkantha Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Atul Patel told news agency ANI. So far, the police have arrested 20 people in connection with the clash. "An incident of stone pelting and arson between two groups was reported last night at around 10:30pm in Majra village," he said, adding that there was extensive damage to property during the clash.

The violence resulted in large-scale arson and vandalism, with over 30 vehicles, including 10 four-wheelers and 20 two-wheelers, being set on fire. A large number of police personnel have been deployed in and around Majra village to prevent further violence and restore order. Authorities assert that the situation is now under control as investigations continue to identify other suspects involved in the clash.
