Gurugram got slammed by heavy rain on Monday, prompting an orange alert from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Major spots like Sector 10 near Euro International School and Sector 69's Tulip Chowk were hit hard, with waterlogging making it tough for people to get around.
Even South City-1 and the Airia Mall stretch on Sohna Road weren't spared.
Gurugram residents demand drainage fixes
Many residents had to wade through knee-deep water, especially around Sector 52A market and DLF Phase 3's V Block.
Traffic jams piled up at Rajiv Chowk and NH-48 despite extra police help.
Locals are calling for real fixes to Gurugram's drainage problems, saying a more permanent solution to the city's drainage problems.
So far, drainage-related measures have already been announced by city officials.
