On Sunday, Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij's convoy was unexpectedly hit by a black car near Padav police station in Ambala as he returned from Maharaja Dhaba.
Fortunately, the minister wasn't hurt.

Turns out, the car's driver—Rajinder, a Sub-Inspector with Haryana Police's Special Task Force—was drunk at the time.
Security detained him right away, and police have filed an FIR while they continue their investigation.

Elsewhere in Haryana that day, dense fog led to a tragic collision between a school bus and a state roadways bus in Charkhi Dadri.
