Haveri Police shoot contractor murder accused

Two men accused of killing contractor Shivanand Kunnur were shot by police on Monday while being brought to Haveri in Hangal taluk.
Police say the main suspect, Nagaraj, and his associate Ashraf tried to attack officers during the transfer, which led to the shooting.
