Hindu Mahasabha leader hired shooters to kill businessman over money

India

Pooja Shakun Pandey, a leader from Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM), was arrested this week for allegedly planning the murder of 25-year-old Aligarh businessman Abhishek Gupta.
Gupta was shot dead on September 26, 2025, in Aligarh while boarding a bus to Hathras.
Police say Pandey and her husband, Ashok, arranged the killing after a dispute over money and partnership in Gupta's bike showroom.

Both shooters have been caught

According to police, Ashok Pandey hired two shooters—Mohammad Fazal and Asif—paying them ₹3 lakh for the job with ₹1 lakh given in advance.
Both shooters have been caught; Asif was arrested on October 3 with an illegal gun and cash.
Investigators used call records and CCTV footage to link everyone involved.
Pooja Pandey is now in custody as the investigation continues.
