IAF pilot dies in Tejas fighter jet crash at Dubai Airshow
An Indian Air Force (IAF) Tejas fighter jet crashed during a display at the Dubai Air Show on Friday, sadly killing its pilot.
The accident happened around 2:10pm local time when the jet lost control during an aerial display maneuver and crashed in a fireball at Al Maktoum International Airport.
Emergency teams rushed in right away, but the pilot could not be saved.
What happens next?
The IAF hasn't shared the pilot's name yet but has started a full investigation to find out what went wrong, which will likely examine flight data and other relevant factors.
