IMD forecasts thunderstorms, gusty winds across several parts of India
Heads up: IMD is predicting a rainy week across several parts of India from August 24 to 30.
Expect thunderstorms, gusty winds, and in some places, heavy to very heavy rainfall with wind speeds that could hit 60km per hour.
Delhi cloudy, several states forecast showers
Delhi's got cloudy skies and moderate rain coming up (no warnings though).
Northern states like Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will see isolated to scattered showers in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, isolated to scattered rain in Himachal Pradesh, and fairly widespread to widespread rainfall in Uttarakhand between August 24 and 30.
Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh are in for heavier downpours.
Coastal regions like Kerala and Karnataka are bracing for gusty winds and steady rain, while eastern states (Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh) can expect rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
