India has 50-60 days of fuel cover amid Iran-Israel tensions
India
Even with all the drama between Iran, Israel, and the US Indian officials say there's no need to panic about fuel.
The country has nearly 50 to 60 days of total fuel cover (about 25 days of crude plus about 25 days of petrol and diesel inventories, including strategic petroleum reserves), and they're stepping up LPG production to handle shortages in places like Mumbai.
What about oil imports?
India's been smart about where it gets its oil: now 70% of imports avoid risky routes like the Hormuz Strait.
Officials also promise there won't be any sudden hikes or rationing for gasoline or diesel.
The government and public oil companies are working together to keep supplies stable and prices in check, so daily life shouldn't skip a beat.
