India tests DRDO's LRLACM off Odisha with 1,000km range
India
India just pulled off a successful test of its new Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM), showing off some serious precision strike power.
The launch happened at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island near Odisha, and this missile is reported to have a range of around 1,000km.
Developed by DRDO, it's a big boost for India's defense tech.
LRLACM complements BrahMos with stealth precision
LRLACM is designed to team up with the BrahMos missile, focusing on stealth and precision rather than speed. It borrows smart tech from the Nirbhay program.
It can fly super low to dodge radar, even without GPS. This makes it perfect for targeting high-value spots like command centers or military bases, giving India more options to keep threats at bay.
