India to produce more LPG as fuel supplies get tight

With global fuel supplies shaken by recent tensions, India is stepping up its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production to keep kitchens running smoothly.
To make sure everyone gets a fair shot at refills, the government has set a 25-day gap between bookings and is cracking down on hoarding.

Imported LPG to go to hospitals, schools 1st

Imported LPG will mainly go to hospitals and schools first, while a special committee will sort out how much goes to hotels and factories.
Meanwhile, countries like Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar have temporarily deactivated parts of their energy infrastructure.
