Big news for India's first bullet train: tunnel construction between Mumbai and Shilphata is in an advanced stage, with 5km already excavated using advanced technology.
Crews are now working on drainage, waterproofing, and reinforcement so the track will be safe and future-proof.

The project's 508-kilometer route is shaping up fast: over 340km of viaducts, plus river and steel bridges are finished.
Around 360 track kilometers of reinforced concrete track bed has been constructed too.
Once complete, you'll be able to zip from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in a huge upgrade from today's long journey.
