IndiGo cancels 85 flights in Madhya Pradesh, leaving travelers stuck

IndiGo had a rough day on December 5, canceling 85 flights across Madhya Pradesh and causing a lot of headaches for travelers.
Indore's airport was hit the hardest, with 49 affected movements (departures and arrivals), though the exact number of cancelations at Indore was not specified, while Bhopal, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, and Gwalior also saw major disruptions.
The chaos was linked to new pilot flying-time rules for which IndiGo failed to plan.

Passengers face delays as airline promises fix

Many people were left stranded or missed important plans—like Kanak Pahuja, who couldn't make it to a university meeting in Delhi.
IndiGo's CEO Pieter Elbers said they're working to get things back on track and hope to restore normal service between December 10-15.
