An IndiGo flight headed for Pune had to change course and land in Goa on Friday after intense rain and hail made landing unsafe.
Pune saw a huge downpour (84mm in just one area) causing hazardous conditions at the airport.

The sudden storm led to fallen trees, waterlogged streets, and major traffic jams across Pune.
Sadly, a 60-year-old flower vendor lost her life when a tree fell on her stall.
Civic officers were asked to stay on duty until the situation was brought under control, and traffic police were deployed at several locations to regulate movement.
