Jaishankar heads to Moscow for key India-Russia talks

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will be in Moscow on Monday to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Their main focus? Finding new ways for India and Russia to work together—whether it's on politics or tackling big international issues.
Jaishankar is also there for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit happening November 17-18.

What else is happening:

Jaishankar will virtually open new Indian Consulates in Kazan and Ekaterinburg, helping boost tech and knowledge ties with Russia.
Plus, Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India around December 5 for annual talks with PM Modi, showing both countries are serious about keeping their partnership strong.
