Jammu: Police bust major drug racket, seize ₹15cr heroin

Jammu police just made a big move against drug trafficking—two men were arrested at Shastri Nagar's crematorium with over 3kg of heroin, valued at a whopping ₹15 crore.
The duo is reportedly tied to a larger network linked with smugglers in Pakistan and Punjab.

Follow-up crackdown: Freezing accounts and property

Police aren't stopping there. Dozens of bank accounts suspected of funding the drug trade in Poonch have been frozen, and properties linked to the racket are being seized.
As SSP Joginder Singh put it, this operation is a significant blow to local traffickers, and investigations are now revealing even more people involved.
