J&K cop booked for assaulting doctor after parking spat

A Jammu & Kashmir Police ASI, Ghulam Ali, has been booked for allegedly assaulting Dr. Anzar Majid Malik in Doda district after an altercation in a parking lot involving Ali's son.
The FIR was filed on December 3, and police say their investigation confirms Ali's involvement.
The whole incident was caught on video, showing the altercation and Ali reportedly grabbing Malik's phone.

Not the 1st time: Recent police misconduct sparks concern

This isn't an isolated case—about a month ago, a deputy superintendent was suspended for assaulting a Block Development Officer in Nagrota after being caught on camera.
These back-to-back incidents have put a spotlight on ongoing concerns about police behavior in the region.
