JK school staff warned against criticizing government on social media

Teachers and school staff in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, have been officially told not to post negative comments about government policies on social media.
The order warns that breaking these rules could mean fines, demotion, or even losing your job.

Political leaders call out the move

The move is getting pushback from political leaders like MLA Waheed Para, who says it's just another way to silence voices in a region already facing limits on free speech.
It's also part of a bigger crackdown on social media in J&K—over 100 accounts were recently banned for allegedly spreading unrest after the arrest of AAP MLA Mehraj Malik.
