Randeep Hooda reveals why 'Laal Rang 2' is delayed
What's the story
In January 2023, actor Randeep Hooda and director Syed Ahmad Afzal officially announced the sequel to their 2016 film Laal Rang, titled Laal Rang 2. However, since then, the project has been on hold as they search for a suitable studio to finance it. Now, in an exclusive interview with HT City, Hooda opened up about the delay and his hopes for the film.

Hooda said he wanted Laal Rang 2 to be a worthy successor to the first part. He said, "It is one of my favorite movies as well. I would love to do that film, but not in a half-hearted way neither like how shamble we shot the first part." "We are looking for proper partners to come on board with us and do justice to the first part, which is not less than a cult."

What to expect from 'Laal Rang 2'
Laal Rang 2 will continue the story of two rival gangs in Haryana involved in blood theft. The film also stars Pia Bajpiee and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles. The first part was released in April 2016. It is streaming on JioHotstar.
