Kerala nurse among victims in Air India crash

India

Renjitha Gopakumaran Nair, a 39-year-old nurse from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, lost her life in the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. She had come back from the UK to look after her new house's construction and was set to join Kerala's state health service. Her journey to London ended tragically when the flight crashed shortly after takeoff.

Ranjitha worked in Oman before moving to UK

Ranjitha spent eight years working as a nurse in Oman before moving to the UK for work. She hoped to settle back in Kerala with her family after finishing her contract abroad. She leaves behind her husband Vineesh, two children—Rithika and Induchoodan—and her mother Thulasi.
