Kolkata: CA murdered in hotel room; couple arrested

A Chartered Accountant, Adarsh Losalka, was found dead in a Kolkata hotel room after meeting a couple he connected with on a dating app.
The suspects, Dhruvo Mitra and Kamal Saha, checked in with him on November 21 and left the hotel hours later with his ATM card and phones.
Both were arrested soon after.

What happened inside the hotel

According to the accused, during a party in the room, an argument broke out between Losalka and the couple that turned violent.
The post-mortem confirmed he died from strangulation, showing clear signs of struggle like a fractured nose.
CCTV caught the suspects leaving around 2:30am they later withdrew ₹11,000 using his ATM card.
Police are now digging into their backgrounds to understand what led to this tragic turn of events.
