What's the story
In 1980, a 16-year-old boy, Rikhi Ram, from Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district, left home for work. Unfortunately, he suffered a serious road accident in Haryana, resulting in a head injury, which caused him to forget everything about his past. His co-worker renamed him Ravi Chaudhary, and he moved to Mumbai before settling in Nanded. In a stroke of providence, however, he has reunited with his siblings and kin after another mishap restored his childhood memories.

In Nanded, Ravi Chaudhary started a new life, got a job at a college, and married Santoshi. The couple had three children together. However, everything changed again when Ravi met with another road accident a few months ago. This time, the accident triggered memories of his past as Rikhi Ram to return gradually.
Reunion
Dreams of childhood home lead to family reunion
Ravi started dreaming about his childhood home, mango trees, and village swings. He confided in his wife and sought help from a college student to trace his roots online. The search led him to Nadi village and a cafe in Sataun, where staff connected him with Rudra Prakash from his village. Initially skeptical, Prakash eventually believed Ravi's story after he recalled family details and the names of siblings.

Family's emotional reaction to long-lost member's return
Ravi's family members, including Durga Ram, Chander Mohan, Chandramani, Kaushalya Devi, Kala Devi and Sumitra Devi, were overjoyed to see him alive after more than four decades. They welcomed him with flowers and musical instruments. The emotional reunion was filled with tears of joy as they had presumed he was no more.
