Luthra brothers' deportation from Thailand nears completion: Reports

Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa, are close to being deported back to India after a tragic fire at their club on December 6 left 25 people dead.
The brothers fled to Thailand soon after the incident but were arrested there on Thursday, December 11.

What's happening now?

After their passports were suspended by Indian authorities and visas canceled by Thai authorities, the Luthras were picked up at a Phuket resort and moved to a detention center in Bangkok.
Records showed they booked flights only after the fire.
With most legal steps done, Goa Police expect to take custody within 48 hours so the brothers can face charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
