Madhya Pradesh: 28 students hurt in school bus accident

On Sunday morning in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, a school bus carrying about 42 students from Bahadurpur's Higher Secondary School fell off a narrow bridge after the driver tried to avoid another vehicle.
Thankfully, while 28 kids were injured, there were no fatalities.
Quick rescue and medical help
Local villagers jumped in first to help the trapped students and called the police.
Most kids got treated for fractures and minor injuries at a nearby hospital, but nine with more serious injuries were sent to Vidisha Medical College for extra care.
MLA Mukesh Tandon confirmed everyone was from Ashoknagar district and said, "Fortunately, there has been no loss of life in this accident."
