Maharashtra: Nurse allegedly gang-raped after knocking on wrong hotel room

A 32-year-old nurse went through a traumatic ordeal after accidentally knocking on the wrong hotel room near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar railway station.
Three men inside pulled her in, allegedly forced her to drink alcohol, and gang-raped her through the night.
She managed to escape early in the morning and reported the incident to Vedant Nagar police.

Police act fast; suspects caught within hours

Police quickly identified and arrested all three accused—two bank recovery agents and an MBA student—within just three hours using CCTV footage and local leads.
Inspector Pravina Yadav shared that they were tracked down soon after fleeing.
The men are now in police custody as investigations continue, while medical examination of the victim is underway.
