Man drowns son, dies by suicide after joint suicide attempt

A heartbreaking event unfolded in Talwada village, Maharashtra, where Amol Sonavane reportedly drowned his four-month-old son and then died by suicide.
Police found the baby in a water drum on Friday.
Just a day earlier, both parents had survived a joint suicide attempt after a domestic dispute.

Bodies sent for post-mortem

The couple had been discharged from the hospital on Thursday, but tragedy struck soon after.
