After spending over three months detained in Iran, eight Indian crew members from the MT Valiant Roar are back in India.
They were held by Iranian authorities on alleged fuel smuggling when their ship was seized on 8 December while it was in international waters.

The ship's 18-member crew included Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis too.
While eight crew members returned to India on February 10, getting everyone home was tough due to military conflicts in the region.
The return trip took them through Armenia and Dubai, with support from the Indian embassy.
One of the seafarers, Anil Kumar Singh, said, "Every moment felt close to death," while Ketan Mehta said the threat of missile strikes meant the crew could not sleep in the day or night.
