Mumbai airport bust: 3 caught with cannabis worth ₹13cr

Customs officials at Mumbai's international airport arrested three men on Friday for allegedly smuggling a total of 13kg of cannabis, valued at about ₹13 crore.
The suspects were stopped while arriving from Bangkok and Phuket on separate flights.

One man, Shabbir Akbarali Daudi, landed from Bangkok with over 3kg hidden in his bags.
The other two, Hozefa and Hussain Panwala, flew in from Phuket carrying 10kg more.
All three are now in judicial custody under the NDPS Act.
Authorities are still investigating payment trails and the broader circumstances of the smuggling attempt.
