Mumbai experiences chill in November for 1st time in a decade

Mumbai felt a real chill this week, with daytime temperatures dropping to 27°C at Colaba and 29°C at Santacruz—the lowest for November in a decade.
Thanks to light rain and cloudy skies, people actually pulled out jackets and umbrellas, which is pretty rare for this time of year.

Light to moderate showers expected until November 6

The IMD says light to moderate showers will stick around in Mumbai and nearby spots like Thane, Palghar, and Raigad until November 6, all because of extra moisture over the Konkan region.
Just last month was unusually rainy too—Colaba got its highest October rainfall in three years—so expect more cloudy, cool days ahead (but no weather warnings yet).
