Mumbai: Water cut alert for M East, M West on Dec 7

Heads up, Mumbai! BMC is shutting off water in parts of M East and M West Wards this Sunday (Dec 7) from 11am to 7pm for urgent pipeline repairs.
Areas like HPCL Colony, Gavanpada, Mahul, Vashi Village, and Chembur will be affected—so make sure you've got enough water stored.

Why does this matter?

After the Sunday cut, a 15% water supply reduction is coming to 17 more wards across the city from Dec. 8-9 as major pipelines get replaced.
BMC says these fixes are key to keeping future disruptions minimal.
They're asking everyone to cooperate and use water wisely until things are back to normal.
