Mumbai's about to get 99 hours of low water pressure—here's what you need to know
Heads up, Mumbai: Starting December 22 at 10am parts of the city will face almost four days of low water pressure as BMC reconnects major pipelines for Metro Line 7A work.
The affected zones include G North (think Dharavi Loop Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road), K East (Kabir Nagar, Koldongri), and H East (Bandra-Kurla Complex, Kalina).
The disruption lasts until December 26 afternoon.
Which areas and when?
G North areas will see low pressure from morning to evening through December 25.
In K East, expect issues mainly in the afternoons and evenings.
H East gets hit late at night and early mornings—so plan ahead if you're in Bandra-Kurla or Kalina.
What should you do?
BMC is urging everyone to store enough water for daily needs and boil or filter it before drinking during this period.
It's a bit inconvenient but all part of the Metro upgrade—so hang tight!
