Telangana: Cold wave alert for 11 districts—Bundle up!

Telangana is in for a chilly weekend as the IMD just issued a cold wave alert for 11 districts, including Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, and Warangal.
Hyderabad should expect foggy mornings and nights, with minimum temperatures likely to be in the 3-4°C range.
So if you're heading out early or late, grab that extra layer!

How cold is it getting?

It's not just a slight chill—29 districts across Telangana saw temperatures drop to 10°C or lower between December 19 and 20.
Kohir in Sangareddy hit the lowest at 4.5°C, while even spots inside Hyderabad city dropped to around 6°C.
The cold wave is making itself felt all over the state!
