NEET UG 2026 re-exam security tightened after alleged leak
After an alleged paper leak earlier this year, NEET UG 2026 is getting a serious security upgrade for the re-exam on June 21.
According to official sources, over 500,000 security personnel have been deployed across India and abroad to keep things fair and smooth for 22 lakh students across India.
Three-layer security, 5G jammers, Telegram ban
Centers will have three-layer security with facial recognition, biometric attendance, and AI-powered CCTV linked to a control room in Delhi.
5G jammers will block unauthorized communication.
Telegram has been banned nationwide until June 22 to curb misinformation.
For extra support, exam papers are being flown in by Air Force aircraft to regional hubs and then moved by road under armed escorts with GPS-tracked containers.
Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and Punjab are offering free transport; Delhi also has "Cooling Zones" for parents so they can wait comfortably while students take the test.
