NIA probing Jaish link in Red Fort blast
Investigators just revealed that eight terrorists were gearing up for coordinated bomb blasts across four Indian cities, splitting into teams with IEDs to cause chaos.
This comes days after the tragic Red Fort blast in Delhi, which took 12 lives.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is now leading the case and suspects a Jaish-e-Mohammad link.
NIA is digging into where the funds came from
The main suspects, Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Adeel, Umar, and Shaheen, reportedly raised ₹20 lakh and bought huge amounts of fertilizer from Gurugram and Nuh to make bombs.
After a money dispute between Umar and Dr. Muzammil, Umar set up a Signal chat group.
The NIA is digging into where the funds came from, while forensic teams have already collected evidence from the Red Fort site as part of their ongoing investigation.
