No water supply in parts of Delhi on Tuesday
Heads up, Delhi! The Jal Board is hitting pause on water supply in parts of the city on Tuesday for some much-needed maintenance.
It's all part of their annual cleaning drive: basically, they're flushing out gunk from reservoirs and pumping stations to keep your water clean and flowing smoothly.
Areas affected and emergency measures
If you live in areas like Siraspur, Samaypur, Rohini sectors, Gorakh Park, Kabir Nagar, Shivaji Park, Welcome, Paschim Vihar, Shahdara, or Seemapuri, you'll want to fill up some extra bottles ahead of time.
If things get tough and you run out of water, DJB has emergency tankers ready; just call 1916 for help.
Importance of annual maintenance
This yearly cleanup might be a hassle for a day but it helps make sure everyone gets better quality water year-round.
With work happening at multiple sites across the city on Tuesday, it's all about keeping Delhi's taps running reliably.
