Normal rainfall expected in Andhra Pradesh in July

Good news for Andhra Pradesh—IMD predicts most regions will get normal rainfall this July.
Rayalaseema is set for average showers, South Coastal areas might even get a bit extra, while North Coastal regions could see slightly less than usual.
This comes as a relief after the state faced a 21% rain shortfall since late May.

TL;DR

Stay alert for possible thunderstorms till July 7

Rainfall is a big deal for farmers and water supply in the state.
East Godavari has actually had more rain than needed so far, but districts like Nellore, Annamayya, and YSR Kadapa are still way behind.
Plus, IMD warns of possible thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds up to 50km/h till July 7—so it's smart to stay updated if you're out and about or working outdoors.
