PM Modi announces interest-free loans for Bihar students

Prime Minister Narendra Modi just rolled out over ₹62,000 crore in new initiatives aimed at helping young people in Bihar.
Announced at the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh in Delhi, the highlights include a special student credit card with interest-free loans and scholarships increased from ₹1,800 to ₹3,600—making higher education more accessible.

Modi credits Nitish Kumar for turnaround

Modi called out previous RJD governments for neglecting Bihar's education system and said this drove students to leave the state for better opportunities.
He credited Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who's been leading since 2005 (except briefly in 2014), for turning things around and focusing on student welfare and new opportunities.
