India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is heading to Dediapada, Gujarat, on November 15 to mark tribal leader Birsa Munda's birth anniversary.
He'll inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for over ₹9,700 crore in new projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, healthcare, education, heritage, and tribal welfare for tribal communities.

What's happening on the ground?

Modi will check out the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train progress in Surat before the main event.
In Dediapada, he's set to participate in the housewarming ('grih pravesh') of 100,000 homes built under tribal schemes and open 42 Eklavya Model Residential Schools plus 228 community centers.
There are also plans for hundreds of kilometers of new roads and 50 more schools—all focused on making life better for local tribes.
